Activity 2 - Foley Art
This activity had us take a trailer and redo all of its sound. The result is actually pretty interesting. Kudos to all the voice actors!
RESEARCH AND PROPOSAL
Rise of the Guardians: Trailer 2
• Different sound for the voices
• Has background music that fits the scenes
• Appropriate sound effects for the different scenes
• Narration in the beginning and end
• Has multiple background music
• Foley art for the events (ex. When Santa’s sleigh is moving)
• Different accents for the characters
• Effective narration
• Effective dialogue
• The volume of the multiple soundtracks and effects is perfect
• The background is not too loud that you can’t hear that dialogue
We like this story because we can relate to the characters because we believed in them. The story is unique and the characters used and how they are used is not common in the movies.
Our plan is to record our voices and use them as dialogue, sound effects, and even musical scores. Watch out for it!
